So I was just wondering what some of your guys's best unkown games were. When I say this I mean games that are not as well known as say Bioshock, Gears of War, Oblivion etc. and why are they your favorites.I would have to say mine is Crackdown. It didn't get as much praise as people should have given it. It was like a cell-shaded GTA. Most people just bought it for the Halo 3 Beta and then totally disregarded the actual game.Best Unkown Games
Just Cause 2 and Scarface.Best Unkown Games
Just Cause 2 and Scarface.
Kind of hard to add a game that isn't even out yet as underrated. Just Cause in itself though was pretty underrated, it was an alright game and I had major fun with jumping out of cars mid-air and then parachuting. But, the actual game in itself could have done much better. Scarface... never played that one, so have nothing to put there.
Kameo is a pretty awesome game. It's an older title (launch actually), but I love the game. I like platformers a lot.
Strangehold is really good. Also stuntman ignition, quite entertaining.
No such thing as an unknown game anymore i think. Production values to make a good game are too high for ''indie'' devs like the movie industry has. Also, games gets so much publicity before they are released (i'm talking about on this site/other gaming sites) that's you'd be hard pressed to find even a decent game that everybody (at least here) hasn't heard of.
Crackdown, Just Cause, and Stranglehold
I have to agree with vendet, it's not as easy this gen to find one of those hidden gem games, not with the amount of hype that even low budget games get now.Closest I can think of for me is Far Cry 2 for it's map editor. Simply the best(and one of the only) map editors on consoles.
Overlord and Crackdown
The Last Remnant and Lost Odyssey.
Im gonna say Scarface and Just Cause.
