Only if its RROD or E74 error. If it's a disc drive or anything else thats broken then you'll have to pay (quite alot) to fix it.

No, you won't have any warranty on it and It's probably not RROD or E74.

So basically you are asking if we think you should spend $50 on garbage?
I did that exact same thing. bought it broken, payed 140 bucks to fix it,(MS will fix any console now for $99 and that includes shipping) then MS dropped the arcade price. So I payed the same amount but did not get a HDMI xbox and did not get the free wireless controller and mem card. If it is the E74 or red ring then get the number first and call MS. If you can get it fixed for free then maybe it is worth it.

well i wouldnt buy it because then you will have to pay to fix it and at the end you mite as well pay for a new one then an old one!
