so then, about Rare.

What were the two games they were working on? I'm going out on a limb and saying one was the xbla game (was it perfect dark, or golden eye), and the other was? Oh yeah, I don't recall seeing anything else from them. I thought leading up to E3 they were supposed to announce 2 or 3 projects, so far all i've heard about is an update to an old game.so then, about Rare.
Yea I wouldn't be suprised if they announce another project these today or tomorrow at E3. I'll say KI3 is one they're working on.so then, about Rare.
Perfect Dark 2.....or a new Conker...please?
Rare has been kind of a disapointment so far. I haven't played any of the viva pinata games, so i don't know about them, but perfect dark zero was a letdown, and I'd much rather have a new game than a remake of an old shooter that has been far surpassed by the shooters of this generation.
Perfect Dark 2.....or a new Conker...please?
Then they are bringing back old games.
Better be new Conker
I hope theyre working on KI3.

But we all have to realize, this isnt the same Rare as the one that saved N64 from droughts.

Never the less, theyre still exceptionally talented, and I think KI3 would be great. I hope they put the old ones on xbla
They need to announce something, they have 4 games in development after all. Though Perfect Dark on XBLA is nice.

Viva Pinata games are great, give them a try. Also, Banjo Kazooie N%26B was more than i expected, although not as good as the classics

Microsoft buying out Rare turned out to be a huge waste of money. They were one of the world's top 3 developers back when they were a 2nd party developer for nintendo making games exclusively on the N64, but all of their best talent left them during the last generation.

I'd disagree about them being ''exceptionally talented''. Their best talent left them to form Free Radical.

Better probably isn't the right word, but different is. Banjo N%26B while wasn't as great as the classics was quite interesting and fun because of the fact that it was different (and still good). Viva Pinata was the same way with me. To me Perfect Dark Zero just didn't try to improve or try a lot of new thing which is why it didn't do as good. I mean Perfect Dark was amazing at the time because what other game could you have up to what 12 person/bot mulitplayer on a console? Plus multiple weapon attacks/abilities and co-op story. Then almost everyone else started doing that and Perfect Dark Zero didn't really do anything new from the other 100 FPS that had come out since the original. N%26B and Viva did do that.

I don't know, I'm hoping it's something good. But it'll probably end up being an Avatar game, or something. I do support Rare though. I've played both Viva Pinatas, bought Banjo Kazooie for Arcade and plan on picking up N%26B sometime. We got PDZ but I never got into it.
