Hmm... didn't they announce this yesterday? Anyways, I'm not sure about what it could be, probably just another FPS were you get to play as the Spartans. I hope they find more ways to fix up the Multiplayer.HALO:REACH is another Prequel
I wouldn't mind them making a Halo game where you couldn't jump 30 feet in the air. Maybe that defeats the point for some.
I'd really like to see bungie do something besides Halo for once, and something that's not an fps for that matter.
I quite like the jumping 30 feet in the air. Spartans are meant to be super-human though, I hope they make the Shock Trooper in ODST at least believable and weaker than Master Cheif. From what it sounded like in the teaser trailer, I am thinking you might be able to play as a full group of Spartans, maybe it might even be a group-style game like Gears of War 2?
Doesn't sound all that bad. We'll see though.
If this uses the Halo 3 engine then i will instantly pass because then it just shows Bungie stopped caring. If it is true about Halo 3: ODST being a full price game then i also pass.

Well I think they should stay with a shooter of some type, but I really wish they would do something besides halo
Well, if you are knowledgeable about the Halo saga, Reach was the planet where humans first met the Covenant and where the fighting began. So yes, it is obviously a prequel.

Your only extra qualification is that you also want them to make something that isn't an FPS. Oni fits both criteria. You never said it had to be a good game or even a new game.

[/QUOTE]Wrong, Reach was a military base which sole purpose was to train Spartans IIs and it wasn't the first place the Covenant attacked. The attack on the planet Harvest was when humans first made contact with the Covenant and that happened years before the Covenant attack on Reach.
