i've seen some gamertag name that have something like this:

i wanted to know if someone knows how to add the brackets

You mean in COD4 or Waw? That is where you put your clan tag.editing your gamertag
i've seen in COD4
You just do it from the barracks. It says edit clan tag or something like that. I just made up a clan and it was a clan of one ;).
