i just received a msg from gamertag xbl weekly telling me i won a prize is this real or a scam?received msg

sounds like a scam to me, unless there is also an email in your inbox directing you to a LEGITIMATE xbox.com website
the message said i had won 4000 microsoft points plus 12 + 1 gold membership and his profile states he works at microsoft

ok so i just got off the phone with ms and they said its a scam and they are gonna check into it so if anyone gets msg from XBL Weekly it is a scam..and btw ms was very helpful.
